WHAT TO SHIP OUT:
Your parcel needs to include:
- complete firearm
- any additional parts that you’d like us to fit to your firearm (if any)
- Restoration Request Form (fill in online or print, fill in and include in the parcel)
- Contract (fill in online or print, fill in and include in the parcel)
- copy of ID  if you ship it out to us or copy of the FFL, if the firearm is sent through an FFL
- ammo - a separate parcel needs to include ammo for testing your firearm

We do not accept reloaded ammo, except for obsolete calibers.

HOW TO PACK YOUR FIREARM FOR SHIPPING:
Firearms shipped directly to Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC
need to be packaged in a sturdy box, preferably in a case and then in a box. Most carriers are not particularly delicate with handling the parcels. Bolts need to be removed and packed separately, wrapped in thick protective layers, and can be added in the same box. Ammunition needs to be shipped in a separate box. Firearms being returned to customers will be packaged by Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC  to ensure safe arrival.

HOW TO SHIP FIREARMS FOR RESTORATION:
Handguns and long guns may be shipped by individuals directly to Brubaker Arms Manufacturing - Restorations, LLC. They can but do not need to be shipped from an FFL. We recommend that you do not use a third party FFL for shipping.  We recommend shipping your firearm via UPS, DHL or FedEx. USPS is not a reliable option for shipping firearms, but it is the only option for shipping ammunition, so if you ship ammunition please use USPS.
Our address is: Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC, 2107 E Mead Avenue Yakima WA 98903.

RETURN SHIPPING:
The firearm can only be returned to the customer directly if the customer shipped it out to Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC directly. If a customer opts to use an FFL to ship out the firearm, the firearm MUST be returned to the same or another FFL; it cannot be returned to an individual, per ATF regulations.

INSURANCE:
Insurance – before return shipping the firearm, Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC will contact you
to inquire about the preferred carrier and the insurance amount requested.

NEW PURCHASES SHIPPING
Firearms purchased from Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC must be shipped to an FFL.
Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC can only ship firearms directly to the customer when the parcel contains a firearm that was shipped out to Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC by said customer. New purchases need to go through the Federal Firearm Transfer process (Form 4473) and local state firearm transfer process.

Shipping

ALASKA and HAWAII RESIDENTS

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

WHAT TO EXPECT ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR FIREARM:
Once your firearm is in our possession, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of the successful delivery.
We will then provide you with a quote, with the clear understanding that we charge hourly rates. Our estimates are based on the condition of your firearm and on what other similar projects have ended up costing our customers,
and do not represent the final cost. Please allow 1-4 weeks for a quote to be e-mailed out to you, depending on the options you select in the Restoration Request Form.

YAY?
If you choose to go forward with the project, we will move forward with it!
We address the projects in the order they come in; at the time when we provide you the estimate, we will be able to give you a rough estimation of the turnaround time as well.

NAY?
If you choose not to move forward with the project, we will return ship the firearm.
Based on the options you selected when submitting the Request form, there may be minor charges in addition to the shipping cost. (Par example, if you chose to have your firearm Diagnosed and Cleaned during the Quote preparation time, these services will be paid for at the time of return shipping the firearm.)

IF THE COST OF RESTORING THE FIREARM IS PROHIBITIVE
AND YOU DON'T NEED THE FIREARM SHIPPED BACK TO YOU

We are licensed to destroy obsolete firearms that are no longer needed,
or the market value does not justify the cost of making them functional again.
This is a complementary service, at zero cost to you.

CUSTOM BUILT QUOTE

HOW TO GET A QUOTE for a FULL CUSTOM BUILD PROJECT
Brubaker Arms Manufacturing, LLC is able to provide you with an estimate based on your firearm needs
and our Master Gunsmith’s assessment of the amount of labor and cost of materials required to produce it.

If you are able to come to our shop in person, you do not need to fill in the Custom Built Request form below.
Our staff will help you fill it in right here at our office! We love meeting our customers face to face and hearing their stories, so if you are local, please set up an appointment with our Master Gunsmith here:

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
If you are not local, please fill in the Custom Build Request Form and the Contract, which you can find here:

We prefer online filing, but if you do not have access to a printer,
please download and print the form below, fill it out, and include it with the firearm at time of shipping:

WHAT TO EXPECT ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR CUSTOM BUILD REQUEST:
We will contact you to have a conversation about your needs. We will then provide you with an estimate, with the clear understanding that we charge hourly rates. Our estimates are based on the condition of your firearm and on what other similar projects have ended up costing our customers, and do not represent the final cost.
For some projects we are able to estimate the cost during our conversation - other projects need a little bit of market research, so we can determine the cost of goods involved in meeting your needs.
Please allow 1-4 weeks for a quote to be communicated to you,
depending on the options you select in the Custom Build Request Form.

YAY?
If you choose to go forward with the project, we will contact you for a down-payment.
The down-payment is usually 50% of the estimate.
Any difference between the estimated price and the final bill will be settled prior to the final delivery of your firearm.

NAY?
Not a problem! Your Custom Build Request Form and the Contract do not bind you to accepting the project.
They represent a preliminary understanding of your needs and our practices.
Our estimates are usually complementary services.
In the very rare occasion when our staff needs to spend extensive time looking for very particular goods and materials for your project (mammoth  ivory inserts, gold / silver / monogram inserts, buffalo horn accents, ebony), there might be a small administrative fee of maximum $120 + tax to cover our operating costs.
